The Association will be
holding a family race day at Healesville Amateur Racing Club on Saturday 14
November 2009. A day at the Healesville
picnics has a gained a reputation for being one of Victoria's great value days out. A comfortable sixty kilometres east of Melbourne through the renowned Yarra Valley
wine district, the Healesville racecourse is shaded by beautiful elms. Mount
Rael provides a splendid
backdrop for picnic racing at its best.
The whole family is catered
for, with free entertainment for the kids while the adults can enjoy
competitive picnic racing with full betting facilities available. The Healesville racecourse is the perfect
setting for a family picnic. There is
plenty of lawn space and many shaded areas for spreading the picnic rug. The racing is keen with large fields. The feeling of being close to the action where
ever you are around the course, adds excitement to the pleasure of relaxing in
a picturesque setting.
Tickets can be bought for $10
each. There are a limited number of free
family passes for the first 100 members who register.
Race sponsorship is available for $1500 (incl. gst)
per race
Race sponsorship is a great
way for a business or social group to enjoy the races. If you are with a large group it is not only
exciting but also cost effective to sponsor a race. A race named after your business, group or
club, and the opportunity of presenting the trophy to the elated connections of
