Having previously won four of the Association's prestigious GreenPlumbers^® Awards, as well as the Premier's Sustainability Award for Small Business earlier this year, Sustainable Plumbing Solutions is now a finalists in The Banksia Awards, Australia's most esteemed environmental awards.

Whilst the sight of water tanks in schools, or residential properties across inner city Melbourne is common today, back in 2002 when Brent Papadopoulos started Sustainable Plumbing Solutions people thought he was crazy to specalise in green plumbing.

However, in the last 12 months over 25,000 water tanks have been installed in domestic properties alone in Victoria, and green plumbing is a rapidly expanding industry with many people, both rural and suburban, seeing the benefits of installing water tanks, solar hot water systems and Greywater treatment tanks on their properties.

Being a finalist in the 2009 Banksia Awards, reflects the impact that Sustainable Plumbing Solutions has had in continuing to be leaders in the plumbing field.

The Winner of the 2009 Banksia Awards will be announced on 24 July 2009.
