Green Skills for Trades

 The Master Plumbers and the CEPU have joined forces to deliver the Green Skills for Trades program offering free environmental plumbing training to apprentices across Victoria.

Training is free for apprentices!

The Green Skills for Trades program consists of nine short courses that are designed to provide apprentices with the skills and knowledge they require to give accurate advice to clients on sustainable plumbing solutions.

Upon completion of the Course in Green Plumbers Environmental Solutions participants will have the skills and knowledge to:

  • Discuss the benefits of sustainability for clients and the broader community as a whole
  • Provide advice to clients on water and energy saving plumbing appliances and systems
  • Report on existing plumbing systems and make recommendations for environmentally sustainable improvements
  • Identify and discuss federal, state and local government incentives available to clients who adopt sustainable plumbing systems
