HR Admin and Payroll Officer Position Available

The Association is seeking to appoint a HR Admin and Payroll Officer to support its Group Training Scheme.  This role is responsible for ensuring apprentice timesheets are processed accurately and in a timely manner to enable the weekly payroll to be processed.  The role is also responsible for invoicing clients after each payroll, maintaining information in the Association’s payroll/management system, and managing the administration of apprentice training plans and incentive payments.

A crucial part of this role is to respond to the needs of the various stakeholder groups in a positive and proactive manner.  These groups include the apprentices, host employers, Group Training staff and the broader organisation.  The HR Admin and Payroll Officer also provides support across the Association ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to our Members.

Applicants for this role must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to enable them to interact with all of the stakeholders. As part of a small team the HR Admin and Payroll Officer will need to respond to ad hoc requests, balancing these requests with routine work.  An outstanding attention to detail is required along with an ability to plan work activities and meet competing deadlines.  A flexible approach is also required to handle the constantly changing environment.
